The Australian Dental Council carries out accreditation functions for the Dental Board of Australia . One of these is to oversee the assessment of the knowledge, clinical skills and professional attributes of overseas qualified dental practitioners who are seeking registration with the Dental Board of Australia under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act and whose qualifications are not approved qualifications for the dental profession.
