Everyone’s hair is different from the others and so are their choices and preferences. To choose your best hairdresser is probably one of the most difficult and time taking decision to make. By nominating the best ones in town, the Australian Hair Industry Awards (AHIA) makes the job easy for you.
Types of Awards 2019
In 2019, there have been four new categories added to the award series:
- Independent Educator of the Year
- Best Business Performance of the Year for a non-salon company
- Best Barber of the Year
- Best Eco Salon
Salon design has also been split into two investment based categories. The AHIA Care, Treat and Style product awards has also emerged as the latest feature. Other major awards are the Vidal Sassoon Humanitarian Award, Hall of Fame and a Special Recognition Award.
The criteria for nominees
The nominees will be judged by set criteria such as the team and its performance, marketing strategies, costumer care and support as well as specialised hair styling and treatment skills, product quality and education. The nominees, to name a few, are Rixon Hair, Roksar Salon, Toni&Guy, Rubi Hair, The End Hairdressing and others.
The big day
The awards will be held on April 28th this year. Fingers crossed for Brisbanites and the nominees.
Venues of the Awards 2019
The designated venues of the long awaited awards are Broadbeach, Star Event Centre and Gold Coast hosting an entertainment and hairdressing extravaganza for an entire night
The actual prize for the winners of the anticipated AHIA is a crystal trophy. Along with this comes a package of editorial coverage and PR exposure, not to mention fame, fame, fame and clients.
